Advent Write the Room

Advent Write the Room provides the perfect activity to prepare kids for Advent and Christmas. Use in literacy centers writing words related to Advent, symbols of Advent, and Christmas preparation. Also works great for independent work, group work, and in learning centers.

Included are….

✓ 32 Cards (24 words plus variations for pine/fir/cedar/evergreen, purple/violet, nativity/creche, and pink/rose, along with 2 blank cards to add your own words and image.

✓ 5 Writing Sheets (for tracing, writing [differentiated], and alphabetical order)

The first sheet is for tracing the words and the next tracing one is editable to add the version of words that you use.

UPDATE: An additional writing sheet has been added with plain lines for more differentiated writing abilities.

UPDATE: (12/02/2021) This is a big update with more word cards being added and the addition of a couple writing sheets. In addition, the tracing page is now editable so that you can type in the words that your church/school uses for Advent. Some of the images have been updated to be more current and the font was updated to a child-friendly one as well. All updates can be seen in the preview!

This is the first activity that I’ll be doing with my class this year to teach them about Advent and I’m so excited to see if they like them as much as other sets I use. I hope you’ll look forward to preparing your class with these write the room cards too!
