Item description
Students create the illusion of their sprite flying through the air while they try and make it dodge obstacles. They create an interactive program that includes these skills:
- Movement based on x- and y-coordinates,
- Sensing,
- Variables,
- Repeat and forever loops,
- If…then loops (conditionals),
- Operators.
This editable PowerPoint includes short embedded videos that demonstrate what the student program should be doing at certain points, and it ends with directions for a culminating activity for students to add on to the game to demonstrate their learning. There is also a rubric. Screenshots are from Scratch 3.0.
