For an entire year, I searched for the perfect mock trial for elementary school students until I created this one. This resource can go along side any book. Possible mock trial cases for elementary school students include – 3 Little Pigs, Harry Potter, The Grinch, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, etc.
This resource will engage your students while teaching them about the court system.
They will practice persuasive/argumentative writing, supporting that writing with textual evidence, speaking/listening, questioning skills, connecting with literary texts and more.
This resource could also be used to create a classroom transformation.
