Item description

This is a timeline project that covers Native American history throughout time. Included is a list of topics that students can choose from that are most relevant to this project. This list of topics can easily be adapted to accommodate teacher preferences and the needs of the class. This project utilize the timeline feature from Knightlab, and is an interactive way for students to incorporate technology with history. This project also allows for students to practice their coding skills if they wish. This project is designed to be completed as a class with each student selecting topics from each category. However, students could all work to make their own timelines too. This also comes with a grading rubric that can also be adapted easily as needed. The timeframe for this project can vary greatly based on the ability of the students and adaptations that are made by the teacher, but I would recommend giving students one week to work on the project and another week to present it. This is designed for for a high school English or Social studies course.
