Procedural Texts is a resource is designed to help your students practice, understand, and write procedural (how to) texts. The objective is 1.12B Dictate or compose informational texts, including procedural texts.
There are 4 sets with oral, reading and writing activities. Included you’ll find:

★ Oral activities with pictures, task cards, key word cards and dictated answers sheet (15 pages).
★ Full color poster highlighting text features
★ Reading comprehension passages with two levels of difficulty (12 pages). It includes 2 Science experiments, 2 Art projects and 2 recipes.
★ Four “read and draw” activities
★ Writing activities with pictures to help them identify the steps. Plus, two pages for publishing their writing and a task card to help them include all the characteristics of these texts (8 pages).

☛ You can use these activities in small group, for intervention, centers, or whole group. I have also used these passages as homework, for review or additional practice. These passages have made teaching this standard much easier.
