Here is a fun activity to get your students moving around while learning about force and motion. Perfect to use with kindergarten and 1st graders as they study how we move objects through push or pull. Students search the room for 12 push, pull, or both mini-posters. Then they write or trace the words on one of the response sheets. There are two complete sets of Write the Room activities – 24 pictures in all.

Push or Pull Write the Room is a science and writing activity to include in your classroom literacy or science centers.

The activity is easily differentiated by choosing among the three response sheets for each of the two complete write the room sets.

This activity can be used at any point of your force and motion unit. Two complete sets of posters are included for repeated use.
Kids love to use clipboards and pencils when they circulate the room to find the cards.
An alternate strategy is to keep the cards in a basket and use them as task cards in your writing center. It also works as an independent activity during Guided Reading.

Included in the Push or Pull Write the Room resource are:

24 cards in both color and black-line with word labels
